The Chemicals Division of the PQ Corporation manufactures inorganic water-based products based on the chemistry of Silicon, Aluminum, and Magnesium.  Silicon chemistries are sourced from silica sand and include a range of products from Soluble Silicates to Sodium Aluminosilicates (Zeolites) to Silica Gels. While these PQ products each are very different chemically, the products have a wide range of industrial applications in common.
