PQ's ADVERA® specilty zeolites with their functional benefits, are an important part of the
plastics and polymers industries. ADVERA zeolites act as excellent costabilizers for PVC and other applications.
Potters Industries Inc., a subsidiary of PQ Corporation, manufactures SPHERIGLASS® solid glass spheres (density 2.5 g/cc) and SPHERICEL® hollow glass spheres (density 1.1 g/cc) which are used as extenders in plastic parts. Addition of solid glass spheres controls shrinkage and reduces warp in thermoplastic materials, especially in fiber-reinforced parts.
